Pull the Rolling Stone cover portraying Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as the bomber
The article and cover in the Rolling Stone magazine "How Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Fell into Radical islam" is considered slander and defamation of character. Labeling Dzhokhar Tsarnaev a bomber when the case has not gone to trial yet is wrong.
How could somebody make that assumption when nobody knows who is responsible for the bombing yet? Making that kind of statement would only influence the outcome of the trial. A fair trial should not be influenced by the media or public opinion. The only people who can determine whether somebody is guilty of a crime or not is the jury and the judge. Everyone is supposed to be innocent until they are proven guilty and not the other way around, as written in the Constitution. I believe this applies to everyone and there should be no exceptions. Everyone in America deserves the same constitutional rights as everyone else. If you really wanted truth and justice for the Boston Marathon victims, you would want the right person to be brought to justice, and if you believe in the Constitution, you would stop making slanderous statements.
