The Aubin Grove Community Association along with the residents undersigned would like to request Main Roads WA plan and construct a footbridge across Gaebler Road to connect Aubin Grove and Hammond Park.

The two suburbs require a safer connection for pedestrians to access the local communities and schools. There are currently 2 schools on the East side of the Kwinana Freeway who access the High School on the West. Gaebler Road already has the suitable land access for a footbridge to be installed.

Rowley Road is a unsafe route for pedestrians to use, especially children. With the future upgrade of Rowley Road to 4 lanes and the current amount of vehicles and trucks it is more than important a footbridge is planned now and constructed within a reasonable time frame.
