Dr. Thimineur saved my life! I could no longer live with my chronic pain, but due to his knowledge and compassion for his patients, he found that an occipital nerve stimulator he implanted surgically, left me virtually pain free. No longer did I need to take pain medications that so many other doctors had me living on. I would have taken my life if not for his expertise! Do not impose this on him or me! It affects many people who need his services for years to come. Without him, I will be back on pain killing drugs that will eventually kill me and at the very least destroy my quality of life.
Pain management doctors are essential for Medicare patients. I do not have Medicare but I do have chronic pain. I can't imagine losing the ONLY Hope I have to getting through each day. Dr Thimineur truly cares about his patients and is able to treat them when other doctors throw their arms in the air because they can't. Please reverse this ruling and stipulate other measures of monitoring if needed but do not eliminate care that is needed among Medicare patients.
Dr Thinenieur has taken care of my husband for eight years before him he was in bed three to four days a week moody withdrawn and since seeing the Doctor he works five to six days a week and the pain is half of what it was I have the man I married 35 years ago back
I am currently a patient for the last 2 1/2 years. I don't know what I would do without Dr. Thimineaur services. If this decision comes down to eliminate Medicaid services I won't have anywhere to go, since no other Dr.'s in CT will take this insurance.
