Rocky Mountain Power owns a portion of the beach of Bear Lake Idaho that lies adjacent to Idaho State's Park locally known as North Beach.  This petition is to have a Rocky Mountain Power repurchase the section they own to allow public access.  This isn't to say it has to be free but they could use the money to cover expenses and then use the rest to help subsidize electricity prices or help cover infrastructure cost for the public good. 

Opening this section of the beach will hardly affect the other beach areas but would help to reduce the overcrowding that the beaches face, especially during holidays.  It would also allow for more people to visit overall which would help increase the income from tourism which would benefit the local businesses. 

In short Rocky Mountain Power should open up the unused portion of the beach for the public benefit as well as the economic utility that could be gained from the area.
