Several school districts in the St. Louis area are providing Mental Health Days for its teachers and staff for the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving. The Rockwood School District is not among those districts. Rockwood claims that it values their teachers. Rockwood claims that they are concerned about the health and well-being of its teachers, staff, and students.

We are asking Rockwood to demonstrate those claims by providing teachers, staff, and students Mental Health Days for the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving (November 22 & 23). This small act of grace and appreciation will go a long way toward improving the mental health of the heart and soul of the Rockwood School District--teachers, staff, and students.
