Why this petition matters

Started by Ali Beaver

Expanding Potter's Bridge Park in collaboration with Hamilton County Parks and Recreation by approximately 45+ acres.

We have heard the concerns of their neighbors and taken time between filings to address as many concerns as possible and updated their plans accordingly. These can all be found on their website at https://rockstorec.org/faqs/ We are committed to ensuring the safety and welfare of Noblesville, all while delivering an amazing park bound by seeking the zoning that would make this park possible. Hamilton County residents will be able to enjoy this park for years to come.

Experience new nature trails for walking, hiking and biking.  Attached to the White River Greenway Trail Corridor, the initial 10-acre donation will expand the park immediately.  An additional 35+ acres will be turned over to the park for development as the project continues, providing a total of approximately 45+ acres of new parkland once the project is completed at the end of the 5 years.

The opportunity to expand Potter’s Bridge Park through this proposed partnership, is one that Hamilton County Parks views as beneficial, due to the natural resource’s enhancements and the increased recreational offerings it would present to the community.

It will provide a unique park for the residence of Noblesville and Hamilton County that will facilitates interactions among users with nature. All while creating placemaking opportunities, increasing connectivity to multiple nearby trail systems and preserving the small-town charm while adding beautified streets and enhanced landscaping.
