Serena Arvayo started this petition to Rockin' Jump Fremont

Entertainment facilities like Rockin’ Jump and other similar indoor facilities for children should accommodate and be inclusive to all children especially children with disabilities. For many children with autism, sensory processing disorder, Down syndrome, etc. wearing a face mask can be confusing, scary, and almost impossible. Even with behavioral practice, some of children like my son who lives with severe autism can not tolerate keeping a face mask on. This is important to me because I recently called Rockin’ Jump in Fremont,CA and explained that I have a doctors note for my son with autism and they simply told me he could not go without a mask. While keeping our children safe and maintaining a sanitary play environment is important, it is also important that major companies that have the funding can make accommodations for our children so it’s not just another place we can’t go. Jumping especially is very important to our kiddos who have major sensory needs. Please help sign this petition in efforts to bring awareness and attention to this problem. My hopes for my son and many others like him can have a designed time where they can visit and enjoy themselves. While California is set to fully reopen soon, many facilities will still require face masks of all children and not offer accommodations or times set aside for those who are not able to. Thank you for taking the time to sign and help.
