Carol Kaye is one of the most prolific recorded bass guitarists in rock and pop music, playing on an estimated 10,000 recordings in a career spanning over 50 years. She played with bands like, The Beach Boys, Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra, Andy Williams, Quincy Jones, The Grass Roots, and tons of others not including all the TV and movie scores she played on! Her absence from the Hall of Fame is ridiculous and she deserves to be inducted as one of the best bassists of all time. Let’s not wait 50 years to induct her! She deserves it now more than ever!
