REINSTATE THE SPORTS CO-OP IN ROCHESTER

REINSTATE THE SPORTS CO-OP IN ROCHESTER
"Reinstate every kid, every sport!"
No child left behind. This slogan is mainly used for education, but should be thought of for sports as well. Please sign our petition to allow students who attend a private schools in Rochester, MN to be able to sign up for sports that their school does not offer. Rochester, MN has a fantastic community educational sports program for our youth. Unfortunately, those sports programs are only good for our youth. That leaves our high school students, who attend private schools, without the option to play sports that their school does not offer. Superintendent Munoz, along with RPS school board, voted in the Non-continuation Agreement (5/21/2019) that high schools in the RPS district will not allow students in private school high schools to play sports.
By signing this petition, we'd like to change it back! We need your support to allow all students, no matter their school, to be able to play sports! The benefit for a high school student playing sports is endless.
According to AspenInstitiue.org: High school athletes are more likely to graduate from high school and college. 50% of students who play sports have an improved mental health status in addition to playing different sports have different social and psychological benefits. Please visit their website for more information on the benefits of kids playing sports.
Together, we can make the change!
