Year 5 at Woodside Junior School in Amersham have been learning about the importance of the World's rainforests and feel determined to make a change to help protect them before it's too late.

We were astounded to learn that there are over 600 different names for palm oil! This means that it is extremely difficult for customers to know when they are buying products which use unsustainable palm oil. Therefore, the UK must become a country which promotes sustainable palm oil production in order to save the World's precious rainforests.

The World desperately needs to protect its rainforests by putting pressure on large companies to make sustainable choices.
