Notice: The Robertson County Planning & Zoning will be meeting on March 4, 2021 at 7pm for its regularly scheduled meeting. At the meeting there will are a few Rezonings to be discussed and voted on. One of these includes 103.97 acres of current farmland that sits between Bartlett Road and Buzzard Creek. To R20/ R40. As I understand, the talk is about building 175 houses on the property. I don’t know the specifics, but I would think that you’d have to have connecting streets on Buzzard Creek and Bartlett Road. If you round up to the average number of cars from 1.88 to 2 at each household, we are looking at a minimum of 350 being added to the roadways in our community. The community has spoken and we do not want this type of growth in our community. This is not responsible growth and it is not in the best interest of our community. This would cause a strain on infrastructure, clog roadways, and cause other issues related to the irresponsible growth. This is not what our community and neighbors want. Please show your support to opposing this Rezoning by signing the petition and showing your support and voice at the March 4th meeting at 7pm.
