On May 26, 2021 Robert Morris University announced, without any warning, that it was cutting both of its NCAA Division I hockey programs.  These programs have provided successful and flourishing careers for not only players and coaches professionally, but also students in the communications field as well. Eliminating a popular and incredibly successful program is a short-sighted and potentially damaging decision that could very well affect future enrollment, as well as future alumni and patron donations.  We therefore, as students, alumni, and parents are insisting that RMU rectify this egregious action and reinstate both the men's (Atlantic Hockey) and women's (CHA) division I hockey programs immediately. #SaveRMUHockey
