I saw her documentary and knowing myself what it's like to be taken advantage of by men and getting mixed up with people who could have killed me, I completely understand that with an under developed brain as a child, she felt terrified and thought he was reaching for a gun. I believe her. I think she deserves to get out of prison and live her life the best way she knows how.
I watched her documentary and it is unfair to see a young life go down the drain because of a mistake. Cyntoia Brown deserves her freedom and I feel that all of this that she has been through showed her how to be a better person
This is important to me because watching her story, it's obvious she was scared what was going to happen to her. She did, at that time, what was her only option, to defend herself. She was put in a position at 15/16 years old that no one that young should have to go through. Why the judge tried her 15/16 year mind as an adult is absurd and things need to change. She deserves to come home, where she belongs. Praying for you Cyntoia. Stay strong!
She is innocent
