Have British Sign Language as an Option For Secondary School Students.

Many children are forced to take a language at school, even if they know they are naturally untalented at it- so why not allow them to study nonverbal communication? Several students have deaf friends and family at home, and I have met many teens who already know basic sign language. If a student wants to take up teaching, being a social worker or representative, British sign language is a key skill to have. Why not let them choose it as an option?
