Myles Standish was a bully and petty tyrant. I highly recommend “This Land is Their Land” by David J Silverman for a fascinating and exhaustive review of Pilgrim interactions with the Wampanoag and other indigenous groups.

I fully support such a name change. It is time for the name of Myles Standish to be erased from any monument or place.

As someone who got my MA from BU, who is also of Mohawk heritage, I firmly believe this building should be renamed.
