Healthcare workers are on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic sacrificing family and in some cases themselves.  They do this without question as they want to help everyone.  While others stay home to stop the spread they go to work every day in horrible conditions.  Extreme mental and physical fatigue are common and there is no end in sight.  Many are burdened with large student loan debt that allowed them to learn how to save everyone else. Healthcare workers should not be required to give even more of themselves by continuing to pay those loans.  They are currently paying that debt back in the care they give.  Payment is being made through their blood, sweat, tears, and family sacrifice.   I call on our leaders to immediately forgive all student loan debt for any healthcare worker currently working during this crisis.
