Dustin Clark started this petition to Rob Manfred and

Major League Baseball commissioner Rob Manfred wants to cut 42 teams out of the minor league baseball. This will affect the players ability to be able to get playing time and show they are getting good enough or that they are good enough to move up and continue to compete and in hopes of accomplishing their dream of playing for the majors one day. Most of all it will affect each and every community that these 42 teams are in. Most of these minor league teams provide great, fun working environment jobs. Not only is it costing the employees of these great teams its costing surrounding hotels, convenience stores, affordable family outings, but it would affect how most people remember there past time. Baseball in my opinion is the greatest game ever created. The game can bring a community together and have fun and have something to be excited and cheer about 2-4 games a week at a affordable price. Taking that away from small communities like mine (Idaho Falls Chukars 2019 Champs!!) Is devastating to imagine something that I do all summer every summer sense I was a kid can all be gone and that is upsetting because I've based a lot of my life choices on this local team of Idaho Falls, and I'm sure I can speak for a lot of other people who feeling the same way as I am. I sure hope they will do the right thing and not cut the 42 teams they listed, just because we live in small communities and dont bring in the millions like the big city doesn't mean we dont care.
