I had to fight for my son with autism to have an EA for even part time at school, and am also signing in the hope that we can get use of his funding since therapy sessions are suspended and my sons funding ends when he turns 6 in August !

Take class composition concessions off the table. You talked the talk as opposition, now it’s time to walk.

ALL children deserve a properly funded education to help them become the best person they can be! ALL children should get help as early as possible - not having to wait YEARS for interventions that can affect them for the rest of their lives!

I'm signing because change has been slow since I worked in the system 20 years ago to now being the parent. Something has to give.

My Neice is in Victoria BC is only granted an EA for one hour a day and requires full day support via her diagnosis. Last year she missed out on 4800 hours of education-
UNACCEPTABLE!
Her diagnosis brought special needs funding to her school and she should be able to attend regardless of the schools ability to staff as per the LAW!

ALL Students deserve a proper education and to have each of their individual needs met. Warehousing students is not acceptable.
Teachers deserve the support in the classrooms to provide a stress free and adequate education to all their students.
Educational Assistants need to be utilized within the system to provided proper support to students and the Teachers.
