H L D started this petition to Roast Groups

I want to start this petition to get roasting / bullying groups on Facebook shut down. This is because it’s affecting people’s mental health in a bad way.

Yes, they go join them and they comment too.

However, people in there are so brutal to the point that I have personally known of 5 people to commit suicide due to bullying.

As if the suicide rate because of bullying across the entire world wasn’t enough, roast groups on Facebook are causing it to rise. The investors, owners and whoever else who are part of Facebook should be monitoring it more closely and not sitting back raking in their millions of dollars and letting people commit suicide because of it.

There aren’t enough security guidelines on Facebook for people to be protected and not just people but young children too.

Children can easily lie about their age and go on to Facebook and naively join these groups that they have no clue about and it gets out of hand and they’re being cyber bullied and then end up taking their lives. It is not fair for people to lose their lives because of genuinely evil people out there.

So, if you agree, sign my petition to get all Roasting / Bullying group on Facebook shut down.

Such as:

Rate My Rollie, Right That’s It, I’m Makeup Shaming amongst others. It’s becoming out of hand how people can just create a group on Facebook that isn’t being monitored properly and before they know it there’s thousands of people in these groups and hundreds per year taking their lives due to bullying.

BULLYING IS NOT FUNNY AT ALL. Bullying is a serious subject and not enough people talk about it and still there is a stigma around it. Not enough people help people that are being bullied and the law certainly do not help.
