The Monkees have been an influence on my life since I was in elementary school! I remember asking my mom to buy a box of cereal that was a brand none of us liked. But, the back of the box was a picture of Davy Jones. It took me 3 weeks to choke down that cereal but I loved my picture of Davy Jones!
