Savage Garden to perform at the 2018 RMIT Graduation Ceremony

In the past couple of years, RMIT graduates have been graced with two Australian pop stars for the post-graduation entertainment: Shannon Noll and Jessica Mauboy. For the graduating class of 2018, the calibre of talent on offer should be no lesser. We propose that the 1990s Australian pop duo Savage Garden, consisting of Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones, be invited to perform at this illustrious occasion. With five number one hit singles and both of their albums reaching the top 10 in both the US and the UK, they are undoubtedly one of the greatest duos to come out of the Sunshine State. Despite having disbanded in 2001 and being inactive since, surely an invitation to Australia's biggest university graduation ceremony will be an offer these two fine gentlemen cannot refuse.
