The OHSAA has reaffirmed plans to move ahead with fall sports and for practices to begin.  School administrators are currently discussing whether to continue or cancel fall sports and activities.  We are asking for your support in making sure that fall sports and activities happen.

Kids will find places to play sports.  Schools can be the cleanest and safest place for these sports and activities to take place.  

Area studies have shown that the majority of people are in favor of going forward with fall sports and activities with safety measures in place. Parents across the district have experienced that the changes that started in March have begun to affect their children’s mental health.  Resuming activities that they have been working towards for years would give them a better mental space to learn and be happy again. 

Safety of course, is very important and we agree with taking precautions.  We believe that Riverside administration and staff can create the safest environment for these activities to take place.

We want your support in making sure that they know that we want them to move forward with ALL fall sports (including contact sports) and activities as planned.
