As you read this petition houses of thousands of urban poor slum dwellers are being demolished by the Rivers state government rendering them Homeless without any alternative provided to them, the right to shelter isn't a privilege but a fundamental basic human rights, #EnoughIsEnough stop this injustice, it's failure of the system that we have slums, forced eviction can only create more angry citizens which lead to rise in criminal activities, as if we've not have enough security challenges, we are calling on Governor Wike of Rivers state to stop the ongoing forced eviction in Diobu and 16 other waterfront communities in Rivers State
