I heard terrible stories about things through my family. How can you profit off of someones blood sweat and tears. How do you not include the person who lifted the plantations owner narrative. How do you make this your bread and breakfast align with the ideals of the confederate loosers. I just don't agree with them even still using the word plantation. Manor house possibly but plantations.

It's time to acknowledge all aspects of local history, including the hard work, suffering and resilience of those who worked there.

If anything, any fees to enter such plantations w. their slave quarters, need to go into RAPARATIONS FUND..

Because this is a totally worthy cause. Why should the south continue to make money off the backs of slaves.

This branding and glamorization of the torture plantations makes me want to never visit the river parishes. And, Tourist Commission, I'm the sort of big-spending tourist you want to visit. Wake up and change your advertising.

These homes are places of extreme turmoil and should hold reverence as places for education, not pretty tourist attractions. People worked and died here, we're raped and conceived children here, and died here after losing all touch with culture and had pride stripped from them. This is hallowed ground.

Because I don't agree with making having any place that kept slaves as a tourist attraction. All these places should be shut down and closed off
