It's time to acknowledge what two years of data tell us. Children are not at significant risk of transmission or serious illness from COVID-19 and should not bear the burden of relieving the anxiety of some adults at the expense of their mental health, social development and academic progress. 

Governor Murphy's emergency order is set to expire on February 10th. We strongly request that the River Edge Public School Board of Education provide parents the choice of whether to mask their children as soon as the governor's state of emergency order ends. The time is now, before the expiration to have solid plan.
