Margaret Georgiadou started this petition to Rishi Sunak

The proposed loan scheme, misnomered a 'rebate' is not only too little it is immoral. Sunak is obliging the public to bail out the energy providing companies, and ignoring the huge profits made by the energy producing companies such as Shell and BP..Moreover, the public is being forced to take out this loan, which is in itself immoral, but which is also ineffective in solving the cost crisis. Will we be faced with another loan scheme come the autumn? Applying a windfall tax on the energy producing companies enormous profits is by far the most practical and moral solution.
