Increase lending of CBILS to support local businesses (COVID-19.)

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

The statistics show that the number of approved loan applications to small-medium businesses is simply unacceptable.

Like many businesses our CBILs application has been declined on the basis of affordability.
We have been classed as high risk as we supply products/services to retail.  The banks official stance is that retail will take too long to recover from the affects of Covid-19, hence a loan is not viable.

We are a viable business and have been established for 40 years, we and many others feel like we have been hung out to dry.
The banks need to open up their lending criteria to suit the unprecedented times that we are currently experiencing.
The UK economy needs the help of the banks to secure employment via lending, this will aid recovery, allowing businesses to continue trading profitably once the period of lockdown has elapsed.
