  • Victoria's Secret Style line of lingerie wear recently showcased their clothing at a fashion show in China, where children as young as 5-year-olds walked the ramp as models wearing lingerie.  This consumerist objective of hypersexualising children does not promote healthy sexuality in young impressionable minds. The sexual objectification of children, even in the clothes they wear, is another way of sexually exploiting them! This is a crime! The inherent sexism embedded in such clothing leads to body image issues in the young. Industries should be sensitive and socially responsible for all communication and during the promotion of their products.
