Tshedza Mbulaheni started this petition to Human Rights Commission and

It is one's Constitutional rights to bodily integrity and the right to freedom of religion, belief and opinion. Therefore no one should be victimized for exercising their right of choosing what should or should not happen to their bodies. It is not the responsibility of the unvaccinated to protect the vaccinated but the vaccine itself. This Bill of Rights is a cornerstone of democracy in South Africa. It enshrines the rights of all people in our country and affirms the democratic values of human dignity, equality and freedom. The state must respect, protect, promote and fulfil the rights in the Bill of Rights that includes freedom of religion, choice, opinion and more. The state is deliberately reluctant to act against decisions like the ones taken by the University of Venda and thereby trample the rights of other staff members and students who may not be willing to take vaccine for reasons known to themselves. In September 3rd President Cyril Ramaphosa in response to mandatory vaccination policy said the implementation of this policy must be based on mutual respect. Therefore respect my choice as much as I respected your choice to be vaccinated.
