NO more felonies for off road vehicle riders

These young men and women are now investing their spare to riding off road vehicles. This hobby is keeping them out of trouble and away from the violence and drugs that currently plague out communities. Unfortunately they have nowhere else to ride, but on the streets.
They laws draw a parallel between dirt bikes and skateboards. In its early years, skateboarding generated controversy and, as a result, was deemed illegal. Decades later the sport became widely accepted, and cities began building public skate parks.
We need to make designated places for these young people to ride in addition to changing the laws to prevent these otherwise law abiding young men and women from getting felonies. They should only receive a citation with a fine attached.
I beg of everyone to sign this petition and have the law reduced and designated areas made for riding.
