We need new laws that will sentence straw buyers of guns to the same sentences as the people who use the guns to kill or injury other people.

If you are the get away car driver in a robbery and someone dies, Usually you get the same sentence as the person doing the shooting, death sentence or life in prison. Not so with the people who supplied the guns.

This week, a Chicago cop was killed by a gun bought by a straw buyer. THE LARGEST SENTENCE THE STRAW BUYER CAN GET IS 5 YEARS.

Last week, A guy shot 10 people, including children!!! THE STRAW BUYER GOT AN 8 MONTH SENTENCE (And he bought guns for 7 other gang bangers, in which other innocent people were shot. Still 8 month sentence. That's a shame and a sham.) 

These people (Loose term) are making money by selling guns to gang bangers who use them to shoot and kill people and CHILDREN. Straw buyers should get the SAME sentence as the end user. If the end user kills someone or shoots someone they should get the same sentence. MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, we can stop some of the shootings on the streets of Chicago. 

Side Note: This is not about gun dealers. In each incident the straw buyer could legally buy the gun.The dealers did diligence in making sure it was a legitimate sale. The straw buyers lied about the intent.
