That the truth being available for the public and prescribing physicians of the information from clinical drug trials and the harms that the drugs can cause may affect the sales profit from the products makes perhaps sense from the perspective of those tying to profit -- though it certainly does not from the perspective of those who might actually use the drug product and the government.

People need government to do oversight, investigation and legislation to control industries.

People who would take the drug products and Doctors who would prescribe them need to know the actual truth and not just be told whatever the company Public Relation's people think will be best to package the product as being.

I am getting old. I use no drugs. I am terrified of landing in a hospital or nursing home where someone else plies me with drugs they don't know the whole truth about! The only reliable science is transparent science.

My wife was given Lupron 20 years ago and has been struggling with its effects ever since. One reason is that the medical profession knows nothing about Lupron, because information of Lupron's effects on the hypothalamus and pituitary has been hidden from the public.

There is no justification for withholding full clinical trial data from doctors and patients.
