A zebra crossing for children to get to primary school safely

Linchfield Community Primary School, Lincolnshire urgently needs a zebra crossing installed!
The school is situated on a corner making it extremely difficult to cross the road on the busy school runs. An advisory 20mph limit is already in place but this is regularly ignored by drivers. The school has over 400 students and 2 nurseries meaning children between the ages 2 and 11 are trying to cross this busy road safely to get to and from school.
The school used to have a lollipop lady for many years with the now confusing road marking still in place, however due to funding cuts the council made the decision to remove the lollipop lady. We now have small children with a dangerous and extremely busy road with markings left that suggesting it is a safe place to cross. Some cars stop to let children cross while others carry on meaning an accident is waiting to happen.
I would like a zebra crossing installed to force cars to stop so children can cross safely, without having to run half way across when a car comes speeding round the corner. A zebra crossing is a permanent solution that will not be targeted by further funding cuts and will benefit the wider community as well.
