I'm a mum of two girls aged 3 & 5, and as we all know it beggers belief at how many times our kids come home ill from school and if you are unlucky like me symptoms always show themselves when school is over or in the evening when your GP is off duty. So I'm setting up this petition in the hope that we can get a Nurse or Doctor from everyone's local community to come to schools for at least half a day, once a week (to begin with) to check kids out - with inhalers for asthmatics, blood sugar checks for kids with diabetes, or in flu season - flu jabs, etc, In the US there is a nurse permanently on staff, I believe it's time Ireland did the same.I'm sure all us parents would agree it would be a welcome addition to our education system. So lets get this petition rolling and fingers crossed we take a step forward. So PLEASE share, share, share with fellow parents, friends, grandparents etc. Thank you all so much for your time
