Social Emotional Learning Days do nothing but distract us and hold us back. Instead of learning and using class time to ask questions, we waste an hour of our day talking about the skills of a leader and how we feel. Some lessons of SEL are complicated and make no sense, so much so that even our teachers don't understand the lesson. SEL days push our learning back and take time away from us learning subjects that we may be struggling with.
