We need a safe pedestrian crossing at Park Street Treforest

We the undersigned have identified the danger and difficulty of having no safe pedestrian crossing on Park Street Treforest, this very busy road is the main route to The University of South Wales and Llantrisant to Pontypridd and the valleys in the other direction and access to St Michael's RC Primary School off John Street Treforest. The Railway Station and bus stop on Park St all have to be accessed across this busy road, wheelchair or pushchair access is virtually impossible on the narrow pavement which fronts the housing on Park Street meaning the road has to be crossed and with no safe place to cross we ask the Council to assess the situation urgently. There have been accidents on this road near to this area and I have personally witnessed two of them.
