RCT Council passed a bylaw to forbid dogs being run on playing fields. Dog walkers and indeed other pedestrians use a public footpath under a railway bridge at the Ynys in Aberdare to access the canal, fields and woods. Several months now of each year this access is impassable due to flooding under that bridge. RCT know the pumping station there requires a more powerful pump yet do not install one. I have emailed, telephoned and even sent photos of the flooding but get fobbed off and lied to. I am hoping enough signatures will finally make this dreadful council take notice. We, the folk of Aberdare need that public footpath to access space beyond. The council are taking away what is a right of way by their negligent maintenance.
