Ask RCT council to respect nature

Rhondda Cynon Taf council are destroying all the older trees in Cwmaman, Aberdare.
The Railway path from Godreaman to Cwmaman has very few trees left under 50 years old. The only crime of these trees is to have roots. The council would rather our children see stumps than historic trees.
The path next to the river is overgrown since trees were removed from there.
Please sign to ask the council to respect nature over tarmac and to establish protection for trees that are not diseased or an immediate danger to (such as falling onto) people or nearby houses.
I would also wish to ask for a replanting programme to replace trees along the river and railway walk that have been killed off. Local schools could get involved, to help the council replace the trees, like the one above, that they used to play on.
