As a 8th grader its is very stressful for the amount of work we are getting. we are having a hard time. we speed lots of time at the computer with no break 5 hours to be exacted. we are tenagers and this not helpful for are health, To be only having one break for 30 minutes, a lot of kids don't eat because that is not enough to make food.  lot of kids have said they have ¨lost motivation¨ because of the amount of work they give us did you know that the average westerly middle school kid will spend 25 hours worth of school time we only have one hour and thirty minutes of break in a school weak so the exact time we spend is 6 hours but we spend 5 hours straight and we only have a 30 min break each day.¨my child is drowning in school¨ said by one mother. And i know you are asking ¨why don't you just ask your teachers¨ well we did and they didn't seem to care.they always tell us ¨do you have any question¨ then they tell us you should have been paying attention so it doesn't help us.  i would also like to continue about the topic of mental illness their is about 6,5000 sucide in tennagers in a study for 2019, i think the people its hurting the most is people with anxiety they are already worrying about the deadly virus and how their is affected and how they have a six hour school day   .I think another thing that i like to talk about is are sleep schedule lots of us staying up to three am yes you heard that right three am then when we are done we go to bed and we only get a couple of hours to sleep, the when we get done with 5 hour and 30 minute school (subtracted the thirty minute break ) we are tired and take a nap then  we stay up the whole night, this is not healthy.  then with the teachers making us put on are camera sorry was talking not enough???  So please sign this for our health and are learning.
