Why this petition matters

Started by Mike Jones

The CDC states that the definition of "fully vaccinated" does not include a booster shot directly on their website.

The CDC also states that those who are "fully vaccinated", from just the 2-series alone, can safely resume activities, also directly on their website.

Despite this, ALL of Rhode Island's institutions of higher learning are formally barring "fully vaccinated" students from in-person learning unless they receive the COVID-19 booster shot.  This includes Brown University, Rhode Island College, University of Rhode Island, Salve Regina University, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence College, and Bryant University.

Many individuals have had the COVID-19 disease this year.  Therefore, they have natural immunity against the COVID-19 virus.  That is why individuals who recently had COVID disease and are "fully vaccinated" have been recommended NOT to get the booster dose in Quebec.

Rhode Island has decided to use higher education as an ultimatum so that individuals will submit to a booster shot that may not even provide them with benefit.  Sign to show that you do not support these authoritarian measures in our free country.
