Don’t deface our children’s books or destroy their DVD!

We have today been advised that our children’s books which they have worked so hard on over the last year are to have the faces of all their class mates torn out! We have been told this is due to data protection regulations. We have also been told that for the same reason we are not allowed a copy of the dvd produced of their end of year concert.

At the beginning of the year we signed and gave our consent that we were happy for our children to be in photographs and dvds. To throw the excuse of ‘Data Protection’ at us is ridiculous. The photographs of our children are already available to view on Rhiwbeina Primary’s website and social media so erasing them from our children’s work doesn’t make any sense. Our poor children will be upset and confused when presented with their books at the end of term, they are 4 years old and being punished for no good reason.

Please Rhiwbina Primary, let them keep their memories intact, save their books and DVD!!
