I strongly believe that teachers have enough difficulty dealing with unfair practices of paying for their own supplies to no pay for work done at home grading papers and time spent with students after or before school without pay. Unfair pay practices added to the already ovious lack respect of the importance of the job is something they should not have to endure.

Public Education is the hallmark of a democracy. When we start infringing on the rights of our teachers, who are professionals, we are jeopardizing what our nation has been built on. I am a teacher from WI, I am sick of being villianized.

I live in Reynoldsburg and am quite disappointed in many things that Reynoldsburg is trying to take control over. All Politics. Very Sad - I stand with the educators and the Children. To bad Politics are more important. Several of Us have a teaching degree but this may change the future of education with "leaders/policiticans like this. Sad to be in Reynoldsburg. I even graduated from here.

The Reynoldsburg Superintendent is not living on the same planet as the rest of us. Why would you dare to ask teachers to accept your demands. Shame on you!!!

Students deserve their teachers back. This is a critical time for seniors, especially. I can't imagine how they're dealing with applying to colleges. These teachers need their jobs back to support these students and themselves.

It is important to be because I feel that our teachers are important to students and the community in general.

As a retired Reynoldsburg teacher I know the challenges of the classroom and stand with the Reynoldsburg teachers for schools that our students deserve.

Last year, I graduated from Reynoldsburg High School. This year, both of my brothers are attending, and many of my friends still do. I have bonded with the amazing teachers there, and they've been so good to me the four years I've been there.

The financial abuse these teachers have been put through over their years with Reynoldsburg is almost laughable. They are sculpting the city's youth and essentially defining the future that these students are going to create, yet the board of education and Tina Thomas-Manning (the head of the board of education) give them this in return.

Currently, due to the strike in Reynoldsburg, there is absolute chaos, or at least was for a little bit. Police in the hallways, teachers getting hit by cars, even shady substitutes explaining their criminal record to students (Supposedly, a student was invited by one sub to come by their hotel!). This strike will not end until the right thing is done for the teachers. The best we can do is show an overwhelming support for these teachers, and against the board of education. It WILL make a difference.

This is incredibly important to me. I graduated from this high school last year, my brothers still go to this high school, and I still have many close friends that go to this high school. I've formed close bonds with these teachers and care about them deeply. The insanity of this strike is simply asinine and the way these teachers are being treated is absolutely unbelievable. I hope so badly that this will all be fixed.
