New York State Route 32, in the Town of Woodbury, is a critical state road that connects numerous areas in lower Hudson Valley.  Personal vehicles, commercial trucks and buses pound NYS Route 32 daily to various destinations.  Over the past several years, this state road has deteriorated creating dangerous driving conditions.  Despite our Assemblyman's attempt to secure funds for Woodbury, funding was denied. The Department of Transportation's response to this need has been to patch the holes rather than repave the state road.

As a resident and candidate for Village Trustee of Woodbury, as well as the tax payers that use New York State Route 32, we demand that the Department of Transportation (DOT) be held accountable to allocate funding for a complete re-pavement of State Route 32, and sidewalks. Our residents, local businesses, and visitors deserve a safe and maintained state road to travel.  Reynaldo Hernandez
