As a community, we are tired of seeing maps that take little to no effort put at the top of Discover consistently, pushing hard-working creators out of the scene. It’s obvious that those who spend days, weeks, months, or even years on their creations are not being recognized like they rightfully deserve. We demand change and more moderation.

My Personal Suggestions:

• Switch out the Trending/Popular tabs to be updated weekly. This brings something new for players to enjoy each week on top of the weekly features. This can be automated based off statistics like plays or retention rate for that week, excluding ones that had previously been in the category the week before.
• Bring in a system that allows players to follow their favorite creators. When they publish something new, the player may be notified and encouraged to try their favorite map creator’s newest creation.
• More specific Discovery denial reasoning. It’s not uncommon to be denied for Discovery for a vague reason. We’re tired of trying to guess what’s wrong with our maps that’s causing it to be denied. It‘s also irritating for it to finally be accepted when all you might’ve done is delete an insignificant prop or two.

The list can go on, but for now, those are my main points. Experienced and well-known creators are quitting due to these issues. By signing this petition, I hope that we, as a community, can enforce change in the space many of us work in daily.
