4 травня ігровий сервіс Battle.Net додав підтримку чотирьох валют: турецької ліри, грузинської ларі, казахстанського тенге та української гривні. Для України, чиє населення зараз потерпає від агресії російської армії, були встановлені найвищі ціни серед вказаних валют. Значна частина ігрових товарів продається за ціною, що майже дорівнює відповідній вартості у євро для жителів Європейського Союзу. Для абсолютної більшості українців такі ціни є непідйомними:

1. Дуже багато людей жертвують гроші в фонди для підтримки армії - від "Повернись живим" до спеціального рахунку для ЗСУ
2. Через агресію Росії, ВВП України може скоротитись майже вдвічі

При цьому турецькі користувачі отримали регіональну ціну, що майже не відрізняється від вартості для російських гравців. Для видавця Activision-Blizzard краще отримати менший прибуток, аніж не отримати нічого через завищені ціни.

Я закликаю Activision-Blizzard, як власника платформи Battle.Net переглянути своє рішення стосовно регіональної ціни для України в сторону її зниження. #ReviseRegionalPrices

On May 4, the game service Battle.Net added support for four currencies: the Turkish lira, the Georgian lari, the Kazakhstani tenge and the Ukrainian hryvnia. For Ukraine, whose people is now suffering from the aggression of the Russian army, the highest prices were set among these currencies. A significant part of gaming goods is sold at a price almost equal to the corresponding value in euros for residents of the European Union. For the vast majority of Ukrainians, such prices are unaffordable:

1. Many people donate money to support the army - from "Come Back Alive" (Povernis Zhivim) to a special account for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
2. Due to Russia's aggression, Ukraine's GDP could be cut in half

At the same time, Turkish users received a regional price that is almost the same as the cost for Russian players. It is better for the publisher Activision-Blizzard to make less profit than to get nothing because of inflated prices.

I urge Activision-Blizzard, as the owner of the Battle.Net platform, to reconsider its decision on the regional price for Ukraine. In the direction of lower prices. #ReviseRegionalPrices
