As a student, along with many others who Attend SASHS believe the dress code currently has many rules in place that are very unnecessary, and unfair. I feel the school should revise the current dress code and make changes based off of what the student body feels. I am starting this petition to show the Administration and School Board that we want change, and ultimately will make SASHS a better environment for all. One of the main things we would like to address is that it feels like Students are not treated fairly, EX. someone may be dress coded for having shorts that are to high, when in reality they are not. While another girl wearing they exact same thing will not be dress coded. Also I feel the main reason “it’s distracting “ is completely untrue. As a student I do not feel it see anyone distracted or having a problem with what other people are wearing. It is always the teachers. And if the teachers are the ones distracted by a MINORS body that is a bigger issue we need to address.
