In 2019, the 30mph zone to the East of Wymondham, Leics (Wash Dyke) was reduced and replaced by 40mph.

As a result, my grandchildren and others are currently growing up on a village road that leaves them with a 10% survival rate if hit by a car travelling at the current 40mph speed limit.*

With your support, I would like to propose to Leicestershire County Council that they reinstate the original 30mph zone and also request village boundary gates (similar to the image above), welcoming safe drivers to our village.
