Recent events in the party leading to the 2023 flagbearership contest call for all right-thinking patriots to have a deeper and reflective look into the history of the party to forestall same from a possible implosion in future. 

The current description of the party as Danquah-Busia-Dombo is divisive and alienates a larger section of our supporters such as Asantes, Gas, Ewes, Fantes etc so we believe it will be better for us to take bold and decisive steps and revert to the UP tradition, which is more inclusive and for which we were originally known until several years ago. 

Therefore, we will crave your indulgence to sign this petition as it will be sent to the leadership of the party for the necessary steps to be taken.
