Discord has made a drastic change to the mobile app'a layout, and it has not been well received. This petition's goal is to reveal the amount of dislike towards the new UI and hopefully encourage Discord to revert its changes back to what was intuitive.

Users are no longer able to easily view who is online in a server, which has left many long-time users dissatisfied. The concept of quick-reply is what replaced that ability, and though being able to swiftly reply is a wonderful feature, many people prefer viewing the server's user listing. The location of G/DM is unintuitive. It makes more sense to have them grouped with the servers, where they used to be, not down at the bottom. Also, the bar at the bottom is also much too invasive for comfortable usage of the app.

For users with visual impairments, the color change and lack of contrast has made it very difficult to use the mobile app. The search function on Discord, though improved by adding a section to search for images, has made it more difficult to read pinned comments and comments in keyword searches. It has also become a hassle to locate settings in the settings menu. Many users are also dissatisfied with the way the profile editor looks now.

There are an untold number of additional reasons that people are unhappy with the changes, but these are several of the most commonly expressed ones. Please, Discord, change it back while you still have time to—before finishing the rollout wave for this new UI. Show us that you are better than most companies out there; that you DO listen to your userbase. Show us that you care.
