Another Bill has been sneakily passed by our government; the Nationality and Borders Bill- this legislation allows for the Government to remove citizenship without warning, to turn back asylum seekers and criminalise their passage.

The Nationality and Borders Bill is the most regressive piece of legislation we've seen yet from this government.

 Criminalising life boat crews, banning all refugees, illiberal citizenship rules  and weakening protections for modern slavery victims. 

Unsurprisingly - passed to rapturous applause...

The Bill was recently updated so that the government can strip someone of British citizenship without notice or even telling them!

This law will of course be used against people of colour, no matter if they were born in this country- will affect 2 out of 5 people of colour in UK... your friends, neighbours, nursing staff, doctors, care staff, shop keepers, basically everyone important keeping our country running. We are a country built on immigration- if we keep letting our government push away all outside help, we are an island... think about it!

*Meanwhile, border forces staff will be granted immunity if people die in operations where boats are pushed back into French waters.
